Shrinking Solution is a potion which is made in the brewing potions mini-game. After completing both parts of the Shrinking Solution you will receive 50 house points.
Once you have brewed both the Doxycide Potion and the Shrinking Solution you will earn the Practical Potion-Maker Badge.

- Add 2 Shrivelfigs to the motar
- Crush Shrivelfigs with the pestle
- Add 5 measures of Shrivelfig juice to your cauldron
- Stir 6 times, clockwise
- Heat to a low temperature for 25 seconds
- Add 4 measures of finely chopped Daisy Roots to your cauldron
- Add 5 Hairy Caterpillars to the motar
- Crush the Hairy Caterpillars with the pestle
- Add 5 meaures of Hairy Caterpillar guts to your cauldron
- Wave your wand
- Leave to brew

- Add 3 measures of Infusion of Wormwood to your cauldron
- Stir 10 times, clockwise
- Add 4 Leeches to the mortar
- Crush the Leeches with the pestle
- Add 3 measures of Leech juice to your cauldron
- Stir 6 times, anti-clockwise
- Add 1 Rat Spleen to the mortar
- Crush the Rat Spleen to a paste with the pestle
- Add 2 measures of Rat Spleen paste to your cauldron
- Add 3 measures of Cowbane Essence to your cauldron
- Stir 5 times, clockwise
- Heat to high temperature for 10 seconds
- Wave your wand
- Leave to brew
